Tegher Monastery is an early 13th-century Armenian monastery and church located on the southeastern slopes of Mount Aragats near the modern village of Tegher in the Aragatsotn Province. It was built for Princess Khatun (also known as Mamakhatun), the wife of Prince Vache I Vachutian.
In the Armenian architecture of that time the vestibule of the Tegher Monastery is singled out with its unusual structure: two chapels were erected on its roof, in the north-east and the north-west corners.
