On the territory of Khosrov Reserve (located in the Ararat region) there are 2 waterfalls, are located very close to each other and are named after the Armenian pagan gods – Astghik (goddess of water, love and beauty) and Vahagn (god of lightning and thunder). Astghik was Vahagn’s lover. According to legend, after their meetings, it always rained, bringing people a rich harvest.
