Alexander Spendiaryan – a famous music composer, conductor and the founder of symphony music in Armenia. The musical heritage left by him is rich in new artistic concepts, diversity of genres and quite expressive means. Among his famous works there are “Almast” opera, “Yerevan Etudes”, “Crimean Sketches” and many others. The house-museum of Alexander Spendiaryan was opened in 1967 in the house, where the composer spent the last years of his life. The collection, presented in the museum, contains great deal of items including manuscripts, letters, documents related to his life. The atmosphere in the museum, where the air is filled with Spendiaryan’s magical music, helps the visitors immerse in the unique \\\\\\\"world\\\\\\\" of the composer.
